What is TVZ?

TVZ — The Vaginismus Zone — is a structured dilator therapy companion app built around Dr Julia Reeve's nine-stage protocol. It is designed as a private, calm support tool that women can use at their own pace on their own phone, with no account required and all data stored locally on their device.

Many clinicians find it useful to recommend to patients between sessions: as a place for them to log their practice, refer to a structured framework, and stay supported in the gentle, gradual work of desensitisation.

Who can apply for free access?

Verified healthcare and therapy professionals working with women who have vaginismus can apply for a complimentary one-year premium subscription to TVZ. This includes:

The aim is simple: to put a calm, well-designed tool in the hands of the clinicians most likely to recommend it to their patients — and to help those patients have something quietly supportive between sessions.

How professional access works

The process in five steps

  1. Email Dr Julia Reeve from your professional email address, briefly introducing yourself and your practice.
  2. Download the TVZ app from the App Store or Google Play, complete onboarding, and tap any premium content until you see the paywall.
  3. In the app, go to Settings → Your Data → "My TVZ ID" and copy the long ID string.
  4. Email Dr Julia Reeve that ID. She will grant you free access manually.
  5. Reopen the app — the paywall will be gone, and you will have full access for one year.

Verification is light-touch but real: a professional email address from your clinic, hospital, or association, plus brief details about your work. This is in keeping with the privacy-first nature of TVZ — no personal data is ever transmitted or stored.
